Happiness today

Today, happiness is a clean and ordered house. I had the maids in today and I just love the feeling of walking through my house after they leave. The carpets bear only one set of marks. My solitary footprints meandering through the soft textiles. The countertops glossy and unmarred by any mark. Not a spec of dust on any surface I can see. Yes, a clean and ordered house. Happiness contained.

Maids? May the saints bless us one and all.

I quite enjoy just wandering through the house, then sitting back w/ a nice cup of tea (or glass of wine) and admire it's cleanliness. Unfortunately, I don't have a maid, so it's due to my efforts alone. Hmmm...but I do suppose it makes it that much more satisfying. Mmm, yes it does.

What the hell? You had the maids in and didn't instruct them to visit the Buddha household? Sheesh. I have a one year old SON. Boys are messy. I found one of my 'lost' sandles in the bottom of my oven tonight.

If that's not screaming SEND MAIDS TO BG'S PLACE, I don't know what is. *sigh*

I get the same feeling as the street cleaning machines whir past at 3am on a crisp clear night. Ahhh, the joy of being homeless in a modern city.
