Everyone has different drives and motivations. For a little change of pace, I'd like to hear about what drives you. What gets your motor revved up? Or as the title says, What inspires you?
Miniskirts inspire me (hehehe). You asked for a record of them... see the link to my VW profile on my blog (in the "Mature Drivel" section). Still a few pics there, but definitely time to post some more soon. :)
Actually... I like self-expression of many types: writing... photography... crafts... I just like to explore my brain. I get these ideas that just seem brilliant, and I have to let them out. In retrospect some are less than genius, but it's still fun letting them out. :)
a good cup of coffee a well told joke the display of fresh flowers at the grocery store an epic style movie a God-awful outfit a strange article in the paper staring back down a steep hill after I've reached the top M
As ironic as this sounds - a deadline. Being a perpetual procrastinator, I don't get things done unless I have a deadline to do them. But I get pretty inspired when I'm under pressure. And pretty sarcastic.
Well...this question for me has a few different answers...
In work, anger drives me. Insane people do inane things to other people. Something insane happened to my mother, and it took her life. For every case I work, its that anger that causes my engine to fire. I guess sometimes I take it personally. Like Tru Davies in Tru Calling, I get to relive nightmares, and do what I can to help the victim. Except, I'm not reliving a nightmare, its a new one, and I'm a lot more knowledgable now for each new case than I was for my moms.
In life, you either act out of love or out of fear. Think about it...really, there are only those two emotions to run on. Everthing else is a derivative of those two things. Even anger. For me, in work, it's both. I fear for the loss of the victim, but I do it out of the love for humans and the chance to do something for them that I couldn't for my mom...to help.

I'm a thrill seeker. Anything that gets the adrenaline pumping will get me motivated.
